Radio Retaliation has got to be my favorite Thievery Corporation album yet. I dig the rhythm, the beat, the foreign languages and overall world music vibe. Very energizing and easy to work to. Definitely check it out. I will eventually own all Thievery Corporation albums. Great stuff.

I dig Pink’s voice on her latest album Funhouse. It reminds me of Janis Joplin – but more listenable, less scratchy.

It’s an easy listen with catchy, soulful, thoughtful tunes.

Probably the best way to get going on an early morning is to get a tall cup of office coffee and start blasting The Offspring’s June/2008 release Rise & Fall, Rage & Grace.

I dig the guitar energy and their yell-singing but also their harmonizing. Good stuff.

I am powered by Electronica. I got an email that the latest Global Underground album was released and it’s NIck Warren – Lima. I have Warren’s GU30 Paris and it is a great album so I was glad to see he put another mix out through GU.

I love the Global Underground series because they are usually DJs that I know and enjoy and they do such a stellar job picking and mixing tracks. The euphoria I feel while playing through these releases is just amazing.

My feet don’t really stop moving and once I add coffee to the mix, I get a pretty good workout just sitting in my chair! I also feel like my productivity and accuracy increases exponentially. When I’m in the zone and then I have to step away from my PC to take care of something, leaving the headphones brings a new clarity to the term of ‘disconnected’ because that’s how I feel when I step away from the album.

You can listen to bits of each track at the GU35 Nick Warren – Lima page. The player initially picks a random part of the song and plays through it but you can click a different part of the song to hear a shorter sample. You can keep skipping it forward to eventually play the whole song in bits and pieces, but I just ended up buying the album off iTunes for 11.99. The album is 25 tracks plus an uninterrupted continuous mix of both discs, so that’s another 2 tracks each an hour and 15 minutes long. Great value!

Good stuff!

I’ve downloaded and installed Firefox 3 on both my work PC and laptop and it truly is quite faster than Firefox 2. Everyone should download it today to be counted in the world-record attempt at the most software downloads in a 24-hour period.
